Relaxation in a Creative and Inspiring Way"

In today's way of life stress has become a habit. Often when you are very stressed, problems can arise. With prolonged pressure on your nervous system, you not only get burned out, but physical problems may also arise. In my surroundings, I see many people who are dealing with stress-related complaints.This has become one of my motivations to teach meditation. Over the years I have noticed in my own practice what meditation can do for you. I used to suffer from panic attacks and anxiety myself, meditation learned me to deal with it. Meditation can be a real tool for you.
What I can tell you about myself: My name is Carla, I'm 35 years old and live in Amsterdam-West (the Netherlands). I started meditating about 7 years ago. I have done several courses in meditation and yoga. And I'm still learning. Now I'm working on a 200-hour training in Yoga and Restorative Yoga.

Besides teaching meditation, I also have another job. I am co-owner of a tour company and Bed and Breakfast in Amsterdam. Before I started in this work field I have been a long time IT specialist and worked in an office. I therefore know how stressful work can be.

Where does the name Meditation Boat come from? It's about the process you follow once you start meditating, you usually do not let go. You step into the boat. I also often sail on boats, so that name came to me. This summer I also offer a meditation tour on the water "The Meditation and Nature Experience".
